About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Blue Yonder WMS Techno-Functional Consultant with 5+ years of experience in Blue Yonder WMS. The candidate should possess strong techno-functional expertise with the ability to independently understand business requirements, design solutions, lead configuration/customization activities, manage integrations and provide technical guidance to the project team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead functional and technical discussions with clients and business stakeholders.
• Analyze complex warehouse business requirements and translate them into scalable Blue Yonder WMS solutions.
• Design and implement Blue Yonder WMS configurations and customizations.
• Take ownership of end-to-end WMS solution delivery for assigned modules/workstreams.
• Define solution approaches and prepare functional and technical design documents.
• Design and manage integrations between Blue Yonder WMS and ERP, OMS, TMS and other enterprise applications.
• Work with APIs, web services and file-based interfaces.
• Analyze complex production issues and provide root-cause analysis and permanent solutions.
• Lead SIT, UAT, deployment and production support activities.
• Review technical solutions and provide guidance to developers and junior consultants.
• Coordinate with QA, development, infrastructure and business teams.
• Participate in estimation, planning and technical discussions.
• Identify risks, dependencies and technical challenges within the project.
• Support project managers in delivery planning and client communication.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities.
• Ensure technical and functional deliverables meet project and client expectations.
Required Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Blue Yonder WMS / WMS implementation and support.
• Strong techno-functional knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain processes.
• Hands-on experience in WMS configuration and customization.
• Experience in end-to-end implementation or major enhancement projects.
• Strong experience in system integrations and interfaces.
• Good knowledge of APIs, XML, JSON and web services.
• Strong SQL/database knowledge.
• Experience in production support and complex issue resolution.
• Ability to prepare functional specifications, technical design documents and solution approaches.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members.
