We are looking for an experienced AS400 Lead Developer to lead development, enhancement, and support activities for IBM AS400/iSeries applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead AS400/iSeries development and support projects.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using RPG, RPGLE, CL, and SQL.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, business users, and stakeholders.
• Support production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in system integration, deployment, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure coding standards are followed.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills:
• Strong experience in IBM AS400 / iSeries environment.
• Hands-on experience in RPG, RPGLE, CLP, DB2/400, and SQL.
• Experience in application development, maintenance, and support projects.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
